Going to Family Camp we had no idea what to expect. I knew I wanted to go last summer and expose my five year old to the life at Camp Interlaken. But as the day approached I was a bit nervous as to what I was in for. From the moment we arrived, I knew I made the right choice. It was a special trip for our entire family. Enjoying all the activities, swimming, water skiing, water crafts, and zip lining; it turned out that the little things were the best. My son has never been able to walk out a door and play with friends. That freedom was a great experience. We all bonded closer during camp and had a lot of laughs. The staff was amazing and we enjoyed our time in a way that none of us will forget. Jordan describes it as his favorite memory of summer and wants to return next year. Thank you to everyone for a fabulous time and a wonderful family memory we will carry for years to come. " -Jessie, Tony, Ruth, and Jordan Beck
Do you remember all of those summer nights under the stars in Eagle River, or basking in the sun on Lake Finley? As Camp Interlaken JCC alumni, you hold the traditions and memories that make it the wonderful camp we all love. With this in mind, we will be creating an alumni community to give you the chance to reconnect, have a laugh or two, and maybe even come back to camp!
Interested in helping make Camp Interlaken JCC better for the campers of tomorrow? Camp Interlaken JCC depends upon the generosity of families like yours. Please volunteer to help with camp projects during the year. We invite you to open your home and invite others to hear about camp at a “parlor meeting” with the Camp Director. Do you have a professional expertise you can bring to camp as a doctor, nurse, psychologist, or social worker? Would you like to be an artist-in-residence at camp? You can provide funding for a special facility or program at camp. All these forms of assistance are needed and greatly appreciated. Contact Dan Baer, Associate Director for more information.
Please join Camp Interlaken's official camp alumni network, CampMinder! Reconnect with old friends from years past.
